Well two years ago today, I didn't sleep the night before, cause I knew I wanted to take a pregnancy test that next morning. Our scheduled blood test wasn't until the next Monday, and this was a Wednesday. I for sure felt prego.
Alarm went off at 5 am, as it always did. I was already wide awake anyways. I peed on the stick, as I had many times before this one time.
I had knots in my throat and tummy. I immediately saw 1 line. Just assumed it was negative. I was in shock. I threw it in the trash can and got in the shower.
I was so upset, I couldn't cry. I had thought for sure our IVF treatment had worked. I was positive it had. I had maintained a positive attitude the whole time of the treatment. People were praying for us, including myself, right and left.
I got out of the shower, and thought I would take one more look at the test, which was in the trash. And there were TWO LINES!!!!
This time, I COULD CRY, and it was unstoppable. I was filled with JOY. A day I will never FORGET. I ran to the bedroom, and woke up Shawn crying with excitement.
It was the BEST day ever, next to, the day they were born.
Now, I have two toddler boys, who are SICK on this special day!!! Oh well, part of being kid and a mother!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! XOXO
We are a BUSY family of 5.
There is Shawn, myself, Audrey, Colton and Chance.
We also have 4 dogs, a kitty, and a few fish to add to this family. Between the 5 of us....including the pets, there is NEVER a dull moment in the Bowen house! :)

MY SWEET BOYS

Home for the Day
I decided to take today off. Colton had a tummy bug last week. Chance got it yesterday. For some reason when Chance gets something its always 100 times worse!
I also had to get done my defensive driving online, and my taxes. So....I figured taking Monday off would be the best time to do so.
Althoug, Turbo tax is not letting on the site for some reason.....oh well. Ill blog instead!
The boys are changing everyday. Chance is really becoming a "pro" walker, and Colton, well, he's just not ready. He does get pretty excited when he will take a few steps from chair to couch. He still walks around tables and such. But when you set him down from somthing, he doesn't even attempt to keep his legs straight and stand on his own. He wants to be on the ground. It's a little frustrating, especially when I see Chance running all over the house. BUT....I know all in his own time. Hopefully before he is 2, he will be more confident in walking. I really think, thats what it boils down to, is CONFIDENCE!
The boys are talking alot. They say: dog, car (all the time), duck, quack, mooo (sound of cow), bubu (calling each other that name), mama (although they used to say this awhile back, i rarely hear it now), da (for shawn), bye bye, ball. Then of course, there is the gibber jabbish, that I don't understand!
The boys stayed at my parents this past Friday, while we went to the Rodeo cookoff. It was fun, but FREEZING! It was nice to have a "night". The rest of the weekend, we just relaxed....and dealt with lots of POOP!!!
