SERIOUSLY???

Geez, the past few days have been terrible.
Started with yesterday. I pick the boys up at the "new sitter", which we LOVE! But, they had had a rough afternoon. Only 1 hour nap that entire day.
I was meeting one of my best friends for a Gatti's dinner, which I was looking forward to. The boys and I are sitting at a light, minding our own P's and Q's. And BAM!!!
Rear ended by a truck full of workers. I look in rear view mirror first (weird how everything went in complete silence), and they seemed OK. I turn around and look at boys, and they had this stunned look on their face and then started SCREAMING.
Then I start bawling of course, cause I'm scared. I put blinker on and pull into the gas station, which was RIGHT THERE.
I'm talking with the boys, making sure everything is OK. Then I'm looking for the truck, and I see it's not there. That's because they would be burning rubber on the road, and took off.
I was shocked.....it was just scary. One thing if it would have been JUST ME.....but that fact, the boys were with me, just made it very SCARY and REAL.....

And so that leaves to this afternoon. I won't get into all the gorry details. This is a story, I can later in life, share and laugh about. But at the moment, it was total chaos and meltdown city. I'm using the restroom, and I hear glass breaking. There is no toilet paper. I run to the living room, and Chance is holding a shattered candle in his hands. I grab is quickly. Pick him and Colton up and put them over the gate, so I can clean up the mess.
Oh yeah, he has tiny cuts all over his hands, and blood is all over them.
Clean up the mess.......hop over the gate to get them.

AND........CHANCE'S hands would be IN THE TOILET THAT WAS JUST USED AND NOT FLUSHED YET.
Thats right.

After sanitizing Chance's hands over and over....we try to relax in living room. My Dad calls, cause he has already heard the story from my Mom. Telling me, I need to make sure all the tiny glass is picked up and blah, blah, blah.
THEN....
Colton knocks over a plant, DIRT EVERYWHERE.

SERIOUSLY?????????

Needless to say, I put the boys in bed at 6:30, called Shawn, told him I'm NOT COOKING, and I'm ready to SOOOO CHILL.....
